Product Description: Impact 4000 Ballistic Rail-Mounted Laser Rangefinder (LRF-IMP4000)

For long-range competitors and open-country hunters, the Impact 4000 is an all-in-one solution that delivers point-and-shoot ballistics. This rail-mounted laser rangefinder provides range, ballistic, and weather data via the integrated GeoBallistics solver, on-board Environmental Sensors, and our patented Wind Bearing Capture Mode. It securely mounts to any Picatinny-style rail or rings with a diving board mount, functioning where your smartphone can't.

The Impact 4000 requires calibration during initial setup, prior to mounting, and whenever you significantly change location, typically 30 miles or more. Calibrate the device outdoors, away from large metal structures or objects, to ensure accurate target direction, inclination angle, and wind bearing measurements.

Range Mode Selection: - HCD Mode: Displays the critical horizontal component distance, corrected for angle, requiring no additional user input. - LOS Mode: Provides the actual line-of-sight range, ideal for use with slope-correcting ballistic drop data cards or apps. - BAL Mode: Displays the range, slope incline, reticle units, and ballistic correction based on the selected profile, for use with the on-board ballistic solver.

Target Mode Selection: - Normal Mode: The standard mode, providing the target's range with the strongest result. - ELR Mode: Allows ranging smaller, less reflective targets at extended distances.

Profile Selection: - Choose from 10 common default Ballistic Profiles or customize them to your specific setup.

Weather Screen: - Displays temperature, pressure, humidity, and calculated density altitude, measured by the on-board sensors or provided by the GeoBallistics app.

Wind & Target Direction Screen: - Shows the direction of the target and the wind in degrees, with the source of each data point.
